A man is facing charges, accused of hitting and pulling kids from playground equipment while on his son’s field trip to Jenks, a year ago.
The affidavit for Brandon Hattaway says he was with his son on a Catoosa school field trip to the OK Aquarium in Jenks on April 27th, 2022 and afterward, they went to Veteran’s Park in Jenks to eat lunch and let the kids play on the playground equipment.
It says Hattaway began hitting and throwing kids off a piece of equipment, giving them scratches or red marks and one kid got a bruise to the face.
It says the kids ran and told the other adults and they called police.
It doesn’t say what led to this or why it took a year to file the case.
He’s charged with 4 counts of assault and battery and 1 count of child abuse.
