A Tulsa man is charged with lewd molestation after a young woman came forward recently, saying she now had proof to back up the allegation she first made against him in 2015.
The affidavit for Patrick Walsh says the girl first went to police in 2015, saying Walsh had molested her, but, the case was deactivated for lack of evidence.
It says the girl is now older and decided to text Walsh and ask him why he did it and to tell him how it affected her emotionally and mentally.
It says he responded to the texts saying he was sorry, but, didn’t want to discuss it through text messages, but, he’d write her a letter.
In the letter, he says he treated her terribly and he’s sorry and she didn’t deserve it and he’s ashamed and disgusted for causing her pain and torment he can never take back.
In it, he also says he had molested the girl’s relative and was on drugs at the time and “everything you’re going to hear I did, I did.”
She gave this information to police, who says two additional victims have also come forward.
It says a second victim was 12 at the time and spending the night at the Walsh home and was on the couch sleeping, when she woke up to Walsh molesting her.
It says she and the first victim both pretended to be asleep during the assaults.
It says a third victim was also spending the night and was also molested on the couch and didn’t tell anyone out of fear, until she learned recently, others had come forward.
He’s charged with 2 counts of lewd molestation and 1 count of sexual battery.
