Man is charged with child abuse by injury, accused of shaking his 9 month old son so badly, the baby had a brain bleed, a skull fracture and bleeding in both eyes.
The affidavit for Antonio Crawford, says the children’s mother went to work on July 12th and left him with the kids.
It says Crawford told officers the baby rolled off the couch and was crying, so shook the boy, to get him to stop.
It says Crawford demonstrated how he did it, using a doll, showing the doll’s head snapping back and forth.
It says he then put the boy in the tub with his sister and Crawford sat on the toilet, looking at his phone until he heard the boy choking.
He says the boy’s arms and legs were waving and kicking and the baby’s eyes were rolling back.
It says Crawford called the children’s mother, then, called 911 and said the baby was choking.
-It says a doctor, at the hospital, ruled the injuries came from being violently shaken.
