Man injured in shooting in southwest Houston over a cellphone

Officers around midnight responded to a report of a shooting in the 11000 block of Bissonnet Street and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
Lt. J.P. Horelica, of the Houston Police Department, told On Scene investigators. The man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Another man remained on scene to talk to police.
Police said the man who fired the shots stayed at the scene and was talking to investigators about what happened.
The man who was shot was taken to an area hospital in “grave condition,” Lt. J.P. Horelica said.
It was unclear if charges would be filed.
