RawNews1st – A Man has now pleaded guilty in federal court to shooting and killing a 13 year old boy.
Federal prosecutors say 20 year old Christian Harrison killed the boy during an argument at Parkview Terrace apartments.
Harrison has pleaded guilty to second degree murder.
U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson says, “Our children are meant to outlive us, not be struck down in senseless acts of violence.”
On December 22nd, 2021, Harrison and the victim’s older brother got into an argument at Harrison’s apartment.
The brother left and came back with his 13-year-old brother and another teenager to continue the argument.
They found Harrison outside near the apartment mailboxes and during the argument, Harrison pulled out gun.
The older brother asked Harrison if he was going to use the gun rather than fight and Harrison answered “yes” and fired seven shots at the 3.
The 13 year old victim was hit 3 times.
Several witnesses identified Harrison as the shooter.
The Cherokee Nation Marshal Service and FBI located and arrested Harrison outside a vacant trailer in Locust Grove on December 28th.
