A South Carolina man has been charged with unlawfully exposing another person to HIV, according to the Mauldin Police Department.
Christopher O’Neil Miller was arrested after a disturbance call on July 12, where police say he gave a fake name and had active warrants.
During the investigation, Miller admitted the woman involved was seven months pregnant with his child—and that he had intentionally hidden his HIV status from her.
He faces charges of exposing someone to HIV and identity fraud, with bond set at $60,000.
While investigating the HIV claim, police said Miller admitted to knowingly exposing a woman to HIV without telling her because he didn’t want her to know.
