RawNews1st – A Bristow man has been charged with three counts involving juvenile pornography and one count of violating the state’s computer crimes act.
The affidavit for Christopher Champoux says the investigation began with a cyber tip and investigators traced it to his home in Bristow.
It says they got a warrant and served it the next day and when they asked Champoux if he was the person they should be talking to about it, he said yes.
It says he told them he’d set up a fake email account and used it to send/receive child sexual abuse material and talked to other adults about child porn on different social media apps.
It says he told investigators he’d gotten into child pornography in the past year and knew he should stop, but he couldn’t and said he needs help.
