The affidavit for Rudolph Gonzales says the victim was a 72 year old woman whose husband died last September.
It says Gonzales was her neighbor and quickly moved into her home, offering to do repairs and maintenance and remodeling for her.
It says she became isolated from her daughters and only spoke to them on speaker phone and they learned her credit cards were being maxed out and new credit being opened.
It says in one case, the victim got a line of credit at Guitar Center and spent nearly $3,500 even though she doesn’t play musical instruments.
It says she was missing doctor’s appointments and physical therapy and refused their requests to visit or learn more about Gonzales.
It says despite having two, good sized TV’s, Gonzales told her she needed to buy a 65 inch TV.
It says a deputy was asked to check on the victim and found her house in total disarray, with carpet ripped up and concrete floors exposed, no furniture in the living room, exposed sheet rock, part of the kitchen floor removed and more.
It says the victim said she was fine but appeared dirty and unkempt.
It says she told the deputy she was paying Gonzales $15,000 for materials and $7,000 for labor and also paying him in musical instruments for his band who was going to compete on a TV show.
It says Gonzales told the deputy he had a colorful past when he lived in CA and had been in a gang and had been to prison for corporate embezzlement.
It says the victim seemed enamored of Gonzales and believed he was helping her.
It says he has two pending lawsuits against him in Tulsa County, filed last fall for getting paid for work and not doing the work.
