A man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a CTA rider during a fight on a Green Line platform on Thursday.
According to police, a 44-year-old man got into a fight with another man on the train platform at the Central Station around 11:22 p.m.
The second man pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed the 44-year-old before falling onto the tracks.
The victim was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, while the suspect was transported to West Suburban Hospital. Both were listed in fair condition.
The stabbing suspect was later apprehended. Area Four detectives are looking into it.
