A man followed a 75-year-old woman into an elevator in the Bronx and then stabbed her in the head
The stabbing happened at a building on Morris Avenue around 11:32 a.m. Police said a 38-year-old man, identified as Edwin Rios, allegedly followed the woman into the elevator.
Rios then allegedly stabbed the woman in the head multiple times, according to authorities.
The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital. Rios was arrested and charged with attempted murder, according to authorities.
