On Friday night, a man died after being pulled from the water at North Avenue Beach.
Divers responded to 1600 North Lake Shore Drive at 8:45 p.m. for a report of a person in the water, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Divers went in and discovered a 21-year-old man who was unresponsive.
CPR was started, and the man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition and died later.
There was no immediate information available.
