A man is dead after a shooting in Hardin County between Elizabethtown and Radcliff Sunday morning.
According to Hardin County Chief Deputy David Lee, police were called to the 5000 block of North Dixie Highway around 11 a.m. on the report of a person down.
When they arrived, they found a man in the road behind an auto shop who’d been shot in the face.
The victim was identified as 36-year-old Derrick J. Franks of Radcliff.
Lee said 25-year-old Cruz C. Frescas of Bullitt County was identified as a suspect and arrested later Sunday in Shelby County. Frescas is currently being held in the Shelby County Jail.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.
