A man currently on probation in another county, is now charged in Tulsa County with stealing phones from 3 cell phones in 5 days.
The affidavit for Edward Demolle, Jr says the larcenies happened in January and involved nearly $7,000 in loss.
It says:
January 2nd: Boost Mobile store: a man went inside, asked to see a phone, then grabbed it and ran.
January 5: U.S. Cellular at 41st and Sheridan, 2 men went inside, grabbed a phone, iPad and Apple watch and ran out.
January 7: AT&T at 16th and Yale; 2 men went inside, demanded phones, cursed the employee, grabbed 4 demo phones and ran out.
It says Demolle was identified in all three cases and was wearing the same clothing when he sold some of the phones at an EcoATM and used his own driver’s license.
