RawNews1st – Deputies arrest a man currently on a deferred sentence, now accused of 3 counts of shooting with intent to kill, 20 counts of having a gun as a felon and 2 counts of having stolen property.
The arrest report for 56 year old James Millard, says a man called 911 Saturday, saying Millard (their renter) had shot the homeowner’s son in the hand.
The report says the son and 2 friends were fishing at a pond on the property and Millard started yelling at them.
It says the guys identified themselves and explained it was okay for them to be there and and a few minutes later, Millard starting shooting.
The report says deputies recovered the gun used, under the trailer’s porch and recovered shell casings in the kitchen, just inside the door.
It says they also recovered 20 guns from the home, including 1 that had been stolen from Sand Springs.
Records show Millard was convicted in Tulsa County in October of 2018 for DUI 2nd offense, open container and resisting arrest and was given a 4 year deferred sentence.
Records show he was also convicted in 2009 of misdemeanor actual physical control of a vehicle while intoxicated and given a 1 year suspended sentence.
