
Benjamin Mills, 44 years of age is the suspect.
A Tulsa man currently on a deferred sentence for assault and battery, is charged with first degree burglary and assault and battery.
February 4th around 2am, TPD gets called and finds the victim holding down Mills in the hallway of an apartment.
The victim says he was asleep on his couch, when Mills came in and punched him about 20 times.
It says the victim had visible injuries on his head, hand and wrist. It says the victim was able to get Mills out to the hallway and hold him for officers.
May 7, 2021: charged assault and battery on a police officer– given 5 year deferred sentence
May 5, 2021: charged with felony attempted first degree burglary and misdemeanor resisting; the felony was dropped and he got 6 moths suspended.
The new charges are not convictions.
