Louisiana Man Charged With Murder After 23-Year-Old Woman Dies A Week After Being Severely Beaten
Heaven Weed later died at 1:46 p.m. on March 10 at Ochsner LSU Health hospital. The 23-year-old lost her life one week after a family member reportedly found her.
Brandon Lindsey was found and placed under arrest on March 3 for one count of attempted second-degree murder, as well as additional warrants from other jurisdictions.
He now faces an upgraded second-degree murder charge.
Weed’s death is the 17th homicide in Shreveport and Caddo Parish this year.
