North Carolina – Man Charged With First-Degree Murder For 25-Year-Old Man’s Death
A North Carolina man is facing multiple charges after being accused of fatally shooting a man in the chest Monday morning, according to Eden police.
Officers responded to the 400 block of Wedgewood Court to investigate a reported shooting. When they entered the building, they found 25-year-old Jacob Ray Bullins shot in the chest.
Despite lifesaving measures, Bullins died of his injuries, according to police.
Through investigation, police revealed that 23-year-old Tristan Simpson shot Bullins.
Simpson was arrested and charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He was issued no bond on all his charges and is scheduled to appear in Rockingham County District Court on June 20, 2023.
