Dale Kumler has been charged with engaging in deviant sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, compulsion of minors, unlawful contact with a minor, and indecent assault of a minor less than 16.
Buffalo FBI tracked Kumler’s cell phone and a PA State Trooper went to Kumler’s parents’ home where they took him in for questioning.
The Grand Island teenager was found in Kumler’s bedroom on the morning of May 26.
This is an active case and Kumler is awaiting a preliminary hearing at the York County Prison where he is denied bail.
Officials with the Erie County New York District Attorney’s office say they want to extradite Kumler to Erie County, New York.
The Erie County New York DA says children are especially vulnerable to online predators. He is asking parents to pay close attention to their children’s behavior whenever they are online.
