An Opelika man was arrested twice in two days on multiple child porn charges.
Investigators said the first arrest of Mason Chadwick Morgan, 46, happened Tuesday.
Authorities executed a search warrant at his residence in the 1400 block of Alabama Highway 51.
Morgan was charged with three counts of possession of child pornography and later released from jail on a $30,000 bond.
According to Lee County deputies, further investigation revealed that Morgan had additional child sexual abuse material.
He was subsequently arrested again Wednesday and charged with eight counts of possession of child pornography.
Authorities added that this case stemmed from investigators receiving a cyber tip from the Alabama Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce in December regarding an individual in Lee County downloading child sexual abuse material.
Morgan is being held in the Lee County Detention Center on an $80,000 bond.
