TRAVELERS REST MAN ARRESTED ON CHILD SEX CHARGES; MAY BE ADDITIONAL VICTIMS
A Travelers Rest man is in custody after investigators allege he committed criminal sexual conduct with two children on multiple occasions between 1982 and 1990.
Investigators initiated an investigation after receiving information regarding the alleged acts in January of this year.
They were able to corroborate information and establish probable cause to obtain warrants against Roger Dale Jackson for 1st degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and 2nd degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.
Jackson was arrested earlier this afternoon and is currently in Greenville County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
Authorities believe there might be other victims. They ask anyone who may have been victimized by Mr. Jackson to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
