The TPD Sexual Predator/Digital Evidence Recovery Unit has a arrested a man on 5 counts of aggravated possession of child pornography.
Last October, the unit received tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a person in Tulsa uploading hundreds of images of child sexual abuse material to multiple Google accounts.
Detectives learned at least 3 Google accounts were created by a person using various aliases and those accounts were used to store photos of young children being sexually exploited.
The investigation led them to a home and Christopher Shields.
They served a warrant at the home on June 10th.
They say they found a phone and a USB flash drive that was in a hidden compartment in a wall.
They say the phone and flash drive contained hundreds of photos of young children who were nude and or engaged in sexual acts.
It is not known at this time if Shields personally created any of the photographs or has had sexual contact with children.
