A man is behind bars tonight after police say her abducted a woman off Volkswagen Drive.
That’s according to the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD).
According to CPD, officers received a call about a possible kidnapping around 4 o’clock Saturday morning.
Police arrived at Volkswagen Drive where they arrested 26-year-old Timothy Rollins for aggravated kidnapping.
The victim was a woman who was on break at work.
Police believe Rollins and the victim were known to each other.
According to a press release, Rollins “fired shots” in the moments after the crime.
The victim was later able to escape and notify police.
Rollins has been charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated domestic assault, reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm while in the commission of a felony.
