A man was arrested in Macomb County for exposing himself inappropriately to Target customers, police said.

Shelby Township police officers were called at 9:28 p.m. June 26, 2024, to Target for an unrelated reason, they said.

Managers told them while they were there that Dequan Walker Jr. was making customers feel uncomfortable and possibly exposing himself.

Walker denied the accusations, but when Target sent surveillance video the next day, it showed him fully exposing himself, according to officials.

Shelby Township police said he was “exposing himself to female customers and walking around the store with his genitalia out.”

Walker was arrested June 28 at his home without incident.

He was arraigned Monday at 41-A District Court on an aggravated indecent exposure charge.

Bond was set at $20,000, cash/surety. He must be confined to his home and wear a GPS tether, if released.

“There is no place for this disgusting, vile, and reckless behavior in Shelby Township,” Shelby Township police Chief Robert Shelide said.
