Officials say Eddie Johnson, 21, was arrested after deputies say they connected him to incidents involving two different minors, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old.
Johnson is accused of taking the teenage girls to local motels and other locations, where the girls were then made to have sex with men for money. Investigators say Johnson also had an ongoing sexual relationship with one of the girls.
Johnson and one of the girls were also connected to two vehicle thefts.
He is charged with human trafficking under the age of 18, criminal solicitation of a minor, second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and two counts of grand larceny.
Deputies arrested Johnson at the Palmetto Inn on Morninghill Drive on June 5 and booked him at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
