Oklahoma – Man accused of trying to get on a school bus with a gun and demanding the driver apologize to the man’s daughter, who had been removed from the bus earlier.
They say it happened this afternoon at 1500 S. Memorial Drive.
They say Donovan Walker partially got onto the bus before the driver closed the door on Walker. It says Walker wanted the driver to apologize to Walker’s child for being removed earlier.
They say Walker made veiled threats while placing his hands on his pistol which remained in the holster and there were children on the bus at the time.
He left the scene, but, police went to Walker’s home and when he pulled in, they arrested him and say he had the pistol in the car, next to the driver’s seat.
They say he admitted trying to coerce the bus driver into apologizing.
He was arrested for carrying a firearm on school property (the bus) and brandishing a firearm.
