A man who got out of prison in December for trafficking in fentanyl, has been arrested again, accused of trafficking in fentanyl.
The arrest report for James McDaniel says police were called to investigate a shoplifting inside a store and learned the woman who was shoplifting had a man waiting for her in a vehicle in the parking lot.
It says that was McDaniel, who admitted he’d recently gotten out of prison and is currently on supervised released.
It says he had fentanyl in his pocket and there was a meth pipe in the vehicle.
Records show:
January 18, 2018: McDaniel was convicted of grand larceny and receiving stolen property and given a 2 year suspended sentence.
September 21, 2020: he was convicted of trafficking fentanyl and given a 4 year prison sentence. (10 total with 4 years in prison and 6 years suspended)
February, 2022: He was convicted of larceny and sentenced to 45 days in county jail.
