FRESNO, Calif. —A man was arrested on Tuesday after police say he shot and killed his wife in Fresno.
Police say the shooting happened at a house on Lamona Ave. at 5th St. near McKinley Ave. around 6:45 a.m.
Police say the victim was a 41-year-old woman, but have not given her identity. The Fresno Police Department says the woman’s husband, 40-year-old Ka Lou Yang, has been arrested on suspicion of committing the murder.
Police say this marks the first domestic violence-related homicide of 2021 in Fresno.Four children between the ages of 9 and 17-years-old have been taken from the home and questioned.
