Kenneth Bowen III is facing more than 65 charges stemming from a series of assaults he’s accused of dating back to 2016.
But due to a series of changes in his legal team and the pandemic, he has yet to face the consequences.
A woman who only wanted to be identified as Millicent said she is anxious to walk into court.
“I’m just ready to do my impact statement. I’m ready to face him,” she said. “I’ve been writing that statement since day one. I just want my day in court that bad.”
Millicent said she wants to tell Bowen what an evil person he is. But her day in court is delayed once again.
Millicent and other victims got a letter from the district attorney’s office saying the specially-set trial for Bowen will be delayed.
That’s because Bowen’s contracted public defender left the office.
Millicent said Bowen has had too many attorneys to count, and it keeps delaying the trial and delays the victims from moving on.
“It’s like a big dark cloud just hanging over me,” she said.
