Tulsa Police arrest a man accused of domestic violence with a deadly weapon and by strangulation and in front of three small children.
The arrest report for Eddie Durham says a neighbor heard yelling coming from the home and called police and officers asked the woman to step outside, but, Durham told her, to talk to police while standing next to him in the doorway.
It says the officers got her to come outside and she showed them her bruises and said Durham had yanked off her glasses, pushed her to the floor, slammed her head into the wall and floor and slapped her hard on the arms and legs while their three young children were crying and begging him to stop.
It says Durham put the kids to bed, then pushed her to the floor again, pushed his arm onto her neck, making it hard for her to breathe and threatened her with a knife, by rubbing it against her skin and she said he mentioned a gun.
Officers say she had bruises on her knees, right leg, both arms, right hand and cuts on her lips and tongue and many scratches.
Durham was booked into jail for domestic assault and battery with a deadly weapon and by strangulation and in the presence of minors.
