Man Accused Of Beating His Brother-In-Law To Death & Storing Body In Freezer Wrapped In Plastic
Michael Charles Lee, of Fairview, was arrested and charged with criminal homicide in the death of his brother-in-law, Sean Carr, WSMV-TV reported. His wife, Angeline Lee, and their son, Dennis Lee, are both charged with accessory after the fact, according to WKRN-TV.
According to WSMV, police in Williamson County responded to Lee’s home Sunday after receiving a tip that a homicide had occurred.
According to an arrest affidavit, Michael Lee allegedly put a ball into a sock and fatally struck Carr. Lee allegedly told authorities that he put his brother-in-law’s body into the freezer “in an attempt to protect his family” and then disposed of the weapon.
Angeline Lee reportedly told officers that Carr had been disrespectful to her, adding that her husband confessed he believed he had killed him, WKRN reported.
She told police that “looking back,” she should have called 911, according to the television station.
According to the arrest affidavit, Dennis Lee helped his father move Carr’s body from the kitchen to the freezer, WKRN reported.
Michael Lee’s bail was set at $2 million bond, while Angeline Lee and Dennis Lee are being held in lieu of $350,000 bail, online records show.
