U.S. Marshals arrest a man accused of beating and strangling his girlfriend, after they say she recorded audio of the assault.
The probable cause affidavit for Kyler Howe says the woman told police, Howe came home drunk and they argued.
She says at some point, she started recording with her cell phone and put it under the bed.
It says he threw her into furniture and hit her in the head with an object and whenever she tried to leave, he yanked her back into the room and he sat on top of her and strangled her.
It says she had scratches and bruises on her head, arms, legs and neck.
The affidavit says you can hear Howe on the recording, threaten to kill the victim and her crying out in pain and asking him to stop.
He’s charged with domestic assault and assault by strangulation.
