Tuesday night, in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, a man, 35 years old, was shot in the back of the head.
Around 11:35 p.m., according to the police, the victim was in the 1200 block of South Fairfield Avenue when he was pursued by an unidentified assailant.
The victim was discovered by the police behind a nearby house.
After receiving two gunshot wounds to the back of his head, he was taken in critical condition to Mt. Sinai Hospital.
There have been no takedowns. Detectives from Area Four are looking into this.
