Mall of America is on lockdown after a reported shooting Friday night, the Bloomington Police Department confirmed.
Police have found one victim shot and reported that CPR was in progress. Limited suspect information; more officers are responding to the area.
Officers are checking for a possible 2nd gunshot victim. – The Mall was being locked down just before 8 p.m. – Two suspects, described as younger black males wearing all black clothing and black beanies, reportedly fled out of the west exit on the first level and both had semi-automatic handguns with extended magazines.
Paramedics are reporting one gunshot victim is deceased at the scene.
It is still unclear if there was another person injured. – Officers from multiple agencies are assisting at the scene.
A 2nd ambulance rig responded to the Mall for a bystander apparently having a medical issue. – Hennepin County Crime Lab has been requested to process the scene and officers are still checking the area for the suspects.
