RawNews1st – A man who was a registered sex offender in Tulsa has been sentenced to 40 years in federal prison for taking photos of himself sexually abusing an 18 month old child.
In March 2020, a task force officer in Tulsa got a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding a Google account that contained child exploitation material.
It said the user, Matthew McNair, was using three different Google email accounts to store it.
Agents got warrants and found McNair had more than 1,000 images of child sex abuse material.
Agents discovered images showing a man sexually abusing a toddler girl and the tattoos matched McNair.
They discovered he’d lived in Indiana in 2017 and his girlfriend at the time, had a toddler daughter.
They confirmed the identity of the victim.
He was prosecuted in federal court in Indiana.
McNair was convicted in Tulsa County in 2018 for failing to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to 3 years in prison,.
He was convicted again in August of 2021 for failing to register and was given 2 years in prison.
