An elderly man has shoved a skipping rope so far up his penis that he got it stuck in his bladder.
The 79-year-old man from Japan got the 90-inch skipping rope so far up that he lead a medic to comment they hadn’t seen anything more “extreme” than it.
Shocked medics have been left saying they haven’t seen anything so “extreme” in their careers, but the exact reason for the rope being put up there in the first place remains a mystery.
Around 100 miles north of Tokyo scans were carried out, including an ultrasound of the man’s bladder.
Confused by what the scan showed up, medics then carried out an x-ray, where they found: “a wire-like coiled foreign body”.
He eventually came clean about having shoved a skipping rope up his penis.
Professor Toshiki Kijima, the lead author of the study published in Urology Case Reports, said the scans and models proved that the chances of being able to pull it back out of the penis were impossible because of the tangling.
When the man’s bladder contracted the rope was tangled into the nightmare knot.
Professor Kijima said: “Transurethral extraction was difficult considering the length of the rope and its entanglement in the bladder.
