A man charged last August with failing to register as a violent offender, is now in custody.
The affidavit for Cody Gibson says he was convicted in Craig County on February 7, 2017 for 2nd degree manslaughter and sentenced to 5 years in prison.
It says he is supposed to register his address every year until February of 2032.
It says he was released from prison on October 14, 2019 and gave D.O.C. a Tulsa address and had 3 days to register that address with TPD.
It says he never did that and never registered with any other jurisdiction either.
He was charged with violating the Mary Rippy Violent Offender Registration Act.
