Maine woman charged with killing 3-year-old son

A Maine woman has been arrested by state police in connection with the death of her 3-year-old son.
Jessica Williams, 35, of Stockton Springs, is charged with murder.
Police said her son, Maddox Williams, died on Sunday after being brought to Waldo General Hospital by Williams and his grandmother.

Investigators did not say how the boy was killed but said the State Medical Examiner’s Office ruled his death was a homicide.
State police said that detectives and evidence technicians have been working since Sunday conducting interviews and investigating the circumstances of the boy’s death.
Police said Williams was arrested by detectives Wednesday afternoon at her mother’s house and taken to the Waldo County Jail.
