A woman allegedly broke a window to a home while under the influence of drugs in West Gardiner early Tuesday morning.
Officials say 54-year-old Lisa Demers of Newport broke a window of a home on Pond Road. According to officials, she admitted to smoking methamphetamine and driving from Newport to the house.
Authorities continued to investigate Demers, finding 56 grams of methamphetamine, 12 grams of liquid fentanyl, 706 grams of packaged fentanyl, 12 grams of cocaine and 13 grams of cocaine hydrochloride in her car.
“Being in possession of this amount of illegal narcotics is not for personal use; however, it has now been taken off the streets for distribution,” Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office said in a release.
Demers is facing multiple charges, including aggravated trafficking, violation of conditions of release and operating after suspension.
She has been denied bail.
