An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted Kermadec Islands, New Zealand at 10:45:53 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 135.699 km, was initially determined to be at 30.254 degrees south latitude and 178.6685 degrees west longitude
