Lucian Munguia,4, went missing from a park in Yakima, Washington. He is still missing. His family is seeking information leading to his whereabouts.
Lucian Munguia was born on October 5, 2017, to his parents Sandra and Juan Munguia. He has an older brother and a younger sister.
His parents have told media outlets that Lucian has been diagnosed with autism. According to YakTri News, Lucian speaks in broken sentences.
Lucian went to Sark Hubbard Park in Yakima, Washington, with his family.
Juan parked his car next to the park. As soon as they arrived, Lucian and his brother hopped out of the car to play. Juan started to change his daughter’s diaper; within a second, Lucian was gone.
Lucian was last seen wearing blue shorts with a blue shirt that had a shark on it.
Lucian’s family looked for him for approximately 15 minutes. Around 7:15 p.m., they called the police. Authorities started searching for Lucian immediately, using all available resources. Trained searchers used ATVs, drones, canines, and helicopters.
Divers and boats searched nearby ponds and lakes. Lucian was not found.
According to officials, there is a video that shows Lucian leaving the park, heading in the southeast direction, by himself.
Police did not say where they obtained the video footage from. They are unsure of what happens to him next or where he goes.
Lucian’s mother stated that he does not have a history of wandering away and does not believe he went to hide, as he does not understand the concept of hiding.
As of the most recent updates from officials, there have been no signs of foul play, though they are not ruling anything out.
There is a $10,000 reward for anyone with information that directly leads to his safe return home.
