LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Metro Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing man who was last seen Tuesday on Crockett Drive in the Pleasure Ridge Park area.
Jermaine Sprewer, 25, is missing from the 6100 of Crockett Drive, and his family said “he hasn’t been in contact and they fear for his safety,” according to LMPD.
Sprewer is a Black male with brown eyes and black hair. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 155 pounds, according to LMPD.
“During the calls, a large sum of money was demanded in exchange for his safe return,” Kennington said. “The family has since not heard from the assailants.”
Kennington did not provide the ransom amount or say whether the family paid it, and he said the FaceTime calls appeared to come from the number for Sprewer’s phone.
Kennington said Sprewer’s vehicle is a blue 2016 Jeep Cherokee with a black carbon fiber hood, tinted windows and Kentucky license plate 7171JW.
