Lockheed Martin to Invest $1 Billion in Saudi Defense
Lockheed Martin is seeking to boost military manufacturing in Saudi Arabia, its vice president of international business has told broadcaster Asharq Business.
The Saudi General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) and Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) have plans worth hundreds of millions of dollars and Lockheed Martin is ready to splash more than $1 billion to support the kingdom’s industry.
GAMI is the Saudi regulator for the military industry and SAMI a state-owned defense company.
