Why are they trying to hide this?
Locals are being forced to conduct their own recovery efforts and were horrified to find charred remains of entire families huddled together.
Maui resident Allisen Medina, who spoke with the Daily Mail, says the government is not doing anything to help.
“The Government, relief organizations, they’re not doing anything.”
“We have the right to know what’s going on. FEMA came here to help with the recovery [process] but we don’t see them.”
