KLAS– According to officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, on Aug. 26 at around 5 a.m., Dominique Armani Jones, 29, also known as “Lil Baby,” was arrested on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon in the 3100 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard, near Desert Inn Road.
According to court records, Jones’s next court hearing is set for Oct., 1.
Lil Baby catapulted into stardom in 2017 with his mixtape Harder Than Hard. Since then, he’s generated a massive following, over 23 million Instagram followers, 9.3 million YouTube subscribers, and more than 23 billion streams on Spotify.
Lil Baby’s legal team released a statement explaining that Jones does have a valid permit but not in Nevada.
