DOUBLE HOMICIDE | Lexington police are investigating after two people were killed in an overnight shooting.
Just after 1 a.m., officers responded to the Green Acres Park area for a call of shots fired, where they found two people had been shot.
The two victims died at the scene. They’ve been identified by the coroner as Amaya Victoria Taylor-Sandifer, 20, and James Henry Bost Jr., 49, both from Lexington.
Police say three more were later found at a hospital, with non-life-threatening gunshot injuries.
Investigators do not have a suspect in custody, and are asking neighbors in the area to check their home surveillance video.
