A Cincinnati man has been arrested, accused of killing a 6-month-old.
Leandre Glenn, 21, now faces a murder charge, accused of killing 6-month-old Christopher Walters.
According to a coroner’s report, the baby died at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. However, the cause of that infant’s death is still listed as pending.
A statement from the child’s family reads, “Christopher Walters affectionately known as “Toot” was such a happy and loveable baby! You wore a smile that was priceless. He would warm anyone’s heart. Mother Onesty Jones, Grandmother Felicia Jones and a host of other friends and family are missing him dearly. We can’t believe anyone would want to hurt toot!”
Glenn was arrested over the weekend in the Avondale area. He is being held in the Hamilton County Jail on a $1 million bond.
Little information is known on the baby’s death.
Last month, Glenn was indicted on several charges, including carrying a concealed weapons and improperly handling a firearm in a vehicle.
