Charges have now been filed in federal court in the death of an 18 year old Ketchum girl, that happened last February.
22 year old Kolton McAnally is charged with manslaughter and assault for operating a vehicle after consuming alcohol that resulted in 1 death and 1 person being injured.
Court documents say McAnally drank alcohol and smoked pot at a house party and got intoxicated.
They say he decided to leave the party in a Dodge Charger with two passengers, a 23-year-old and Madison Beisley-Barnes, who was killed.
They say McAnally was driving away, but, the two passengers got out and went back to the house.
They say McAnally put the car in reverse and hit Beisley-Barnes and the other person.
Documents say Beisley-Barnes was pinned under the car and later died from massive injuries.
The other person had a broken arm
They say he initially asked people to tell the police, he wasn’t the driver, but, later admitted it.
These are charges not convictions.
