The victim had told dispatch that Demetrius Jackson hit and strangled her and then she locked herself in a room, according to the citation. It said when officers arrived, Jackson was waiting at the front door. Officers then talked to the victim and Jackson.
The citation said the victim told Jackson she was going to Louisville to “do some work with a friend.”
When she went to her closet to get dressed, Jackson allegedly swung and hit her in the right ear, the citation said. She turned around and Jackson continued to hit her body.
The citation said the victim backed herself into a corner in the closet, and Jackson then pulled her out of the closet by the neck of her shirt.
