Known Drug Dealer Arrested for Sales of Fentanyl
For the second time this year, the Clovis Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) served a search warrant at the same Fresno County home regarding a narcotics investigation.
Earlier in 2021, our SET Detectives were investigating the sale of heroin in Clovis, and it led them to the home of 29 year-old Keith Fisher.
This morning, SET was back at Fisher’s home east of Clovis while investigating the sale of Fentanyl. Fisher has been arrested for felony drug sales and felony child endangerment, due to a young child being in the residence where unsecured Fentanyl was readily accessible.
A female in the residence was also charged with felony child endangerment, and the child was turned over to Fresno County Child Protective Services (CPS).
Fisher is being booked into the Fresno County Jail this afternoon. SET Detectives recovered 2.5 ounces of Fentanyl and additional evidence.
Fentanyl is 50-100 times more potent than Morphine, which means a very small amount has the potential to kill. We urge parents to talk to your children about the dangers of this and other legal and illegal substances. If you have information about the sales of narcotics or other illegal substances, please call Valley Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-STOP.
