The revelation came today as a refute to fellow streamer Morgpie’s claims that she became wealthy by posting ‘hot tub content’ (sexually suggestive content) on the livestreaming gaming and entertainment server, Twitch.
Online star Morgpie herself was banned from Twitch after one of her topless streams went viral, and her platform soon read, “This channel is currently unavailable due to a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
Following her ban, she later told Dexerto that other streamers had found ways of bending the rules when it came to posting explicit content.
Morgpie mentioned Amouranth in particular, accusing her of finding loopholes in Twitch’s terms of service (ToS) and claiming allowed her to accumulate such vast wealth.
She told the publication: “People have been trying to find ways to poke holes in the Terms of Service for a decade on Twitch.
You know, that’s why Amouranth is as wealthy as she is.
“People see that and they see the success that can be made from doing things like what Amouranth did with the hot tub streams.
“Twitch will find ways to include this kind of content on their platform, you can watch, or you don’t have to watch, but ultimately it is allowed.”
And taking to her personal X (formerly known as Twitter) account today however, Amouranth – who also posts her suggestive content on OnlyFans – hit back at the allegations.
